Archipelago landscape in close-up by LARS JANSSON
Lars has always photographed - well, at least for more than 50 years, as a private hobby. First with film, and now digitally. And Lars has learned the hard way, although it was never particularly hard - photography has been and is fun. The camera is usually with him, both in everyday life and on trips and in the archipelago. Lars tries to photograph as "true" as possible, details, environments and moods, seen through his eyes.
Archipelago landscape in close-up.
Lars isolates and highlights parts of the very foundation of the archipelago, where nature has created local poetry. Not manipulated or staged images but just nature itself in shimmering moments - so you can sink into the experience. There is of course a reason why Lars photographed this at that particular time. "I enjoy looking at the pictures, they give me peace and harmony and space for thoughts - but I'm a bit biased….".
